UPDATE – December 9, 2020 | 12:30pm

As per the new provincial restrictions announced yesterday, the following rules are in effect for Auburn House park until further notified:

~ No guests permitted in the park.
~ All residents MUST present their membership card for access when they check in, in order for us to verify residency.
~ Washrooms in the skate changeroom will remain open. Masks are mandatory for use and you must bring your own. ABRA will not be providing disposable masks.
~ Skate changeroom is NOT available for use. There are benches placed near the rinks that are available for changing into and out of skates. If you’re not comfortable using the benches you can bring your own lawn chair.
~ You may only enter the park with members of your own household. Groups that are not from the same household will be turned away at the gates and will not be permitted access to our park.
~ There is to be no group socializing in the park. ABRA is not meant to be a place to meet your neighbours for gathering. This is something that will be difficult to monitor so we ask that all residents please respect this.
~ ABRA will not be turning on the fire pit in the park.
~ Parents – please ensure that your children (aged 12 and up) are aware of these rules and regulations, especially if they are entering the park on their own. They will not be able to attend with friends, and they MUST have their own membership card for access.

Security will be onsite to monitor the ice every day to ensure that residents are following the rules and restrictions. Failure to follow the rules could seriously impact our ability to operate during these times. We kindly ask that all residents do their part in helping ABRA remain open for our community.

UPDATE – November 27, 2020 | 2:30pm

Due to the public health measures announced by the Alberta government and public health officials on Tuesday, in order to allow our residents ample opportunity to access our park, please note that for the next 3 weeks, and possibly longer depending restrictions are lifted or not, guests will no longer be permitted in the park.

Please also be aware that there will be no access to the washrooms inside Auburn House until we receive further clarification from AHS.

We will be sure to keep residents updated on any additional changes from AHS to our operations.
Thank you in advance for your understanding and cooperation.

We know that many of you will have questions about how yesterday’s announcement will affect Auburn House.

Please note that our Program Coordinator is in the process of reaching out to participants of classes that need to be cancelled and is sorting out which can be done online as well. If you haven’t received an email, please check your spam folders or email [email protected]

We’re also currently working with AHS to find out how Auburn House amenities may be affected. We will update the community as soon as possible via social media and our website.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.
