We are happy to announce that Phase 2 of the ABRA Re-Open Plan will be starting on June 8th, 2020. The management and staff of ABRA have been working very hard to get everything in order so that you can all enjoy our amenities in a safe manner for all.
On June 8th ABRA Park will be opening, with restrictions, for our residents to enjoy. Phase 2 will allow residents to:
~ Walk around the park
~ Play Tennis (on our newly refurbished courts)
~ Play Basketball (per household, must bring your own equipment)
~ Enjoy the Playground (as per City of Calgary & AHS)
~ Fishing (max capacity permitted)
~ Restrooms Open in the Skate Change Room
Please note the following remains closed until Phase 3:
~ Beach
~ Lake
As mentioned, ABRA is taking a cautious approach to reopening to ensure the safety for our staff and residents. If residents follow the safety precautions set out by our local governing bodies and ABRA, we are confident that we can reopen Phase 3 sooner, rather than later. We will assess the COVID-19 situation throughout the opening of Phase 2 for two weeks. If there are no substantial spikes or new restrictions put in place from AHS or City of Calgary, then we can open Phase 3.
