Join the Auburn Bay Residents Association in partnership with the First Nations Arts Alliance for our first ever Creating Community with Music: A First Nations Celebration. This all-ages event will feature music from The Double Rider Band, Winter Count, Penny & Kirby Smith, Desert Orchid Band, and Jax Running Rabbit, along with a mini market of arts and crafts, an indigenous food truck, opportunities for meet and greets with elders, and more!

Plus, in conjunction with National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and Orange Shirt Day, orange t-shirts will be available for purchase by the First Nations Arts Alliance. Cost is $25 each and payment is available by cash, debit or credit.

Bring the whole family down, and join us in engaging the nation by facilitating communication and connection and changing stereotypes.

Regular guest rules apply.

Please Note – all the event activities and attractions for our upcoming ‘Creating Community with Music: A First Nations Celebration’ event will be located in the main green space and at the amphitheatre. Please make your way to these areas upon your arrival to the park.

Be sure to arrive early! Introductions, Elder greetings and Smudge are all scheduled to begin at noon!
