A Live Band Event
feat. Silly Wrabbit
Happy Summer, Auburn Bay!
We’re excited to announce our summer kick off event, Music at the Park!
Join us on Saturday, June 26 from 3pm to 7pm for an event open to all ages, where we will host a live band, Silly Wrabbit, at our amphitheatre. Silly Wrabbit is very popular amongst the Auburn Bay crowd and will be featuring their line-up of popular cover hits!
Please bring your own chairs and/or blankets, and please note that due to AHS capacity restrictions in place at this time for live performances, the amphitheatre green space will be capped accordingly. More residents will be permitted into that space as other residents vacate, so please be courteous to your neighbours and allow everyone equal opportunity to spend time in that area. Silly Wrabbit’s performance will be able to be heard from many areas of the park/beach, so if you’d prefer to enjoy the music from those areas as well, you won’t miss out!
We’ve also got you covered with delicious eats and treats! Don’t miss out on YYC Food Trucks, who will be located in our parking lot ready to satisfy your cravings.
RESIDENTS ONLY – Membership cards are MANDATORY. Due to park capacity restrictions still required to be in place, and in order to accommodate as many residents as possible, this is a resident-only event (non-resident guests not permitted). Live alone? Please contact [email protected], in advance of the event date.
As our reservation system will likely still be required to be in place at this time, please note, however, the 3pm and 6pm reservation time slots on this day will become all drop-in only (residents only). Residents may be asked to clear the park, as normal, during the set break (5:45pm), if our numbers have reached capacity and/or we have a waitlisted lineup for the 6pm time slot. In that case, residents would be welcome to line up again for the last drop-in time slot of the day.
Please note – This event is open to all ages. This event is a modification from our Band ‘N Brews event, as health restrictions still in place required the event to be altered. Band ‘N Brews fans can look forward to that event being hosted in August. Therefore, Music at the Park is NOT a licensed event and no alcohol will be permitted.
