Auburn House Facility Rental Rates

Banquet Room bookings are temporarily unavailable beginning March 1st, 2023 through to July 1st, 2023 due to renovations.

Rental FAQ

Auburn House will supply the tables and chairs. We also have cords, dongles, etc. for our sound system and a microphone. 

Auburn House does not provide table linens, dishes, cutlery, etc. These items are the responsibility of the renter. 

We have rectangle and round tables: 

  • Rectangle tables are 6′ X 2.5′
  • Round tables are 5′ in diameter.

Auburn House has enough tables and chairs to accommodate the maximum capacity of the Banquet Room.

  • Full Banquet has a capacity of 85 people with table & chairs or 100 with just chairs (theatre style).
  • Banquet A has a capacity of 60 people with table & chairs or 70 with just chairs (theatre style).
  • Banquet B has a capacity of 25 people with table & chairs or 30 with just chairs (theatre style).

All facility rentals must be done in person during Auburn House Administration hours: Mon-Fri, 9am to 5pm (excluding holidays).

Full payment of the room is required and you must provide proof of homeowners/tenants insurance at the time of booking (must match the address attached to the rental contract).

All rentals also require a $1000 damage/non-compliance deposit.

If you are serving alcohol you are required to purchase a Liquor License and Party Alcohol Liability (PAL) Insurance. 

Additional charges may also apply for SOCAN & Re:Sound fees for playing recorded music.

You are not covered under ABRA insurance when you rent a facility from us. homeowners/tenants insurance is required for guest liability. 

The damage/non-compliance deposit covers damage to the facility, tables, chairs, etc. as well as any non-compliance with ABRA rules & regulations.

A liquor license is required, by law, when hosting an event in a public facility where alcohol is being served. For more information please visit the AGLC website.

Party Alcohol Liability (PAL) Insurance provides coverage to you and the hosting venue in the event that a guest drinks and drives and hurts themselves or another person. For more information please visit the PAL Canada website.

Auburn Bay residents can rent a facility up to 1 year in advance. 

Non-Residents can book a facility up to 6 months in advance.

Yes. Rentals can go as late as 1:00 a.m., however please be advised that an additional after hours fee of $135/hr does apply to accommodate our staff wages and security.

No. You can come 10 minutes prior to the beginning of your booking to complete the walkthrough (not applicable to bookings starting at 9am), but any earlier will result in a charge of $50/15 minutes.

If you stay past the end of your booking as stated on your rental contract you will be charged a late fee of $50/15 minutes. If your rental ends past our closing hours, the after hours fee of $135 applies on top of that. 

No. Your insurance is only applicable to the room that you have rented and does not extend to the park. For liability reasons there is no park access for anyone attending a rental. Failure to abide by this rule can result in the forfeit of your damage/non-compliance deposit.
